day 11

Shhhhh.
It's a quarter to midnight. The touches on a custom order are complete, the Blackberry Sage and Williamsburg Night Bars on their way to Brookland, and the Peppermint Lavender Foot Cream dolloped into jars. Hello Pillow!

Good night,
~Wanda

I hear you! Great piece!

And yes,we were in a legion of young people doing these minimum wage jobs during our college years. I know I scooped at Haagen Daz from 6pm-midnight in Georgetown after waitressing 8 hours at the French bistro around the corner. I live all week in that area when I was a freshman home from collge. It made me appreciate those who stll slave in this unforgiving economy at service level jobs and to think we want to kick out the immigrants who do the crap work and take away the Pell grant for kids like we were who are struggling to make ends meet this summer so they can return to schools that can't promise them jobs upon graduation, with debt up the wazoo... hmmmm, something is very wrong with this picture.
